恋人と誕生日をレストランで祝ったあなた。
恋人はあなたのためにお金を貯めてネックレスを用意してくれました。
…が、レストランでの恋人の行動で「理想の男性ではない」と思ってしまいます。

Simple Answer

– What happened?

– Actually, I celebrated my birthday with my boyfriend yesterday. He saved money to buy me a beautiful necklace.
But, at the restaurant, he sang me a romantic song he wrote in a very loud voice. That was so embarrassing.
I can’t help thinking he is not my Mr. Right.

Advanced answer

– What happened?

– I celebrated my birthday with my girlfriend last night. She took me to a fancy French restaurant. Everything was going perfectly until we got the check.
The meal cost a fortune. They even charged us $30 for a small bottle of mineral water. Unbelievable!
In the end, I had to help her by lending her some money. She was so embarrassed!

So, Chris, you seem to do a lot of these romantic gestures.
Have you ever sung for somebody?

クリスさん

Actually, I sang for my wife once. She didn’t expect it at all.
We were in a restaurant in Thailand with a live band.
And I arranged to sing. “Hey, you look wonderful tonight.”

I think she was pretty embarrassed.
