love は「あげる・くれる」の意味関係は持てない
So, why can’t we say, “I love him a good car.”?
It makes absolutely no sense.
make no sense ：意味を成さない
That’s right.
And the reason why is that this pattern is for the verb
which has the basic meaning of give. Love doesn’t fit that pattern.
The meaning of the verb and the sentence pattern must match.

I reached the station.

arrive 自動型 目的地に足を踏み入れ到着する
reach 他動型 手を伸ばして対象物に触れる、届く
